The Tyrant King was not always a giant! This gorgeously detailed and scientifically accurate reconstruction shows what a baby T.rex of ~6 to 8 months of age would have looked like. The skeleton was painstakingly crafted based on dinosaur growth rates and theoretical projections, and is our most accurate representation to date of a T.rex in this age bracket. The adorable 50 inch long skeleton, nicknamed “Snarly”, shows this fearsome predator at an age not commonly depicted, and would be impressive if displayed next to a skull of an adult T.rex. Or, try adding it as an unfortunate food item for another predator such as Dakotaraptor!
