Product Description
Fossil dinosaur skin is rare, but this beautiful piece is the first example of healed dinosaur skin in the fossil record! Recently published in the Journal Cretaceous Research and featured in TV documentaries such as National Geographic’s Ultimate Dino Survivor, this specimen is well known and informative. It came from a hadrosaur that bore healed tooth marks, probably from a T.rex. Can also be cast in durable rubber “Dragon Skin”, so the public can “feel” what a dinosaur’s hide was like.
Associated with Hadrosaur Skull with Bite Marks, see Replica Skulls.
