Dino Digs Out West

Have you ever watched a dinosaur dig on TV and wondered what it would be like to be there?

Have you ever wanted to experience the thrill of discovery of fossil remains that have not seen the light of day for 65 million years?

Do you want to learn the techniques that vertebrate paleontologist use in exploration and excavation of dinosaur and other fossils?

Are you a teacher who wants to gain a valuable hands-on experience you can utilize in your classroom or are you a student who wants to be a paleontologist

If the answer to any of these questions
is yes, then this is for you!

The Palm Beach Museum of Natural History is offering a field experience for exploring & excavating dinosaurs and other vertebrates in the Hell Creek Formation near Newell, South Dakota. We are considering re-offering this program for the summer of 2010 and registration will be limited to a maximum of 15 participants per week with a minimum of 8.

Planing a dino expedition takes place early in the year. Please contact us as soon as possible if you are interested in participating.
