The Florida
Anthropologist
is the journal of the The
Florida Anthropological Society, Florida's statewide
organization for archaeology and anthropology. First published
in 1948, the journal's primary focus is the archaeology,
ethnology, physical anthropology, cultural anthropology,
and associated topics relating to Florida and surrounding
areas in the southeastern United States and Caribbean. The
Journal is published quarterly. In addition, the Society
has produced a series of publications relating to specific
topics of interest which may also be obtained through this
site.
Original back
issues are currently available for most years of publication,
however, some issues that are both scarce and out of print
can not be obtained at this time and are not listed in our
database.
