The central diorama of this exhibit presents two dinosaur skeletons in a dynamic scene from South Dakota's Famous Hell Creek Formation. These are real dinosaurs, not replicas! Your visitors will be able to participate in a virtual field expedition that follows the actual excavation of each dinosaur and then follows their journey from the rocks of the Cretaceous, through their preservation and reconstruction, to the mounting of the skeleton that stands before them.
